Fab breakfast, beautiful rooms, unforgettable grounds and location, and exceptional service. The hotel staff were so lovely and couldn't do enough to make our stay special. I visited with my parents and prior to checking in, we'd asked for the rooms to be next door or close together. Paul, the manager, was so kind to us - in order to accommodate our request, Paul upgraded us to the suites near the hotel's beautiful lake. My parents absolutely loved the room, it was such a treat and they felt so cared for - I can't tell you how special it made our stay. It meant everything, so thank you, Paul! Everyone we encountered was so lovely and a credit to the hotel. Raja, Holly, Ranjan in the dining room and others I didn't get the names of - everyone really cared how all their guests were doing. There was this atmosphere of homeliness as a result; you somehow forget a hotel should feel like that when so many are very impersonal. Just a really good vibe at the Kenwood. Thank you to everyone there. Hope to see you again soon.

Be ready for a unique British experience if you decide to stay in this hotel. Things just work randomly, relying on magic. Situated in an excellent location in Sheffield, Nether Edge, you have at a walking distance restaurants, cafes, a grocery shop, charity shops, parks, and nature. The service is a bit disorganized. When I asked for extra toilette paper, the staff told me to walk to the reception to get it. It involves considerable walk across many confusing corridors, different floors, and an effort. I fetched it, but still feel a bit resentful. Rooms are a bit old (leaking baths, broken chairs, etc), which perhaps adds to the general atmosphere that the hotel looks a bit like a castle. If you are into all things magic, then you certainly would enjoy this hotel. I plan to return there next time, as despite its wear, the hotel still stands, surrounded by its own park, including the lake. You get used to it eventually and will definitely remember this experience.

The staff were very helpful and friendly nothing wasn't too much trouble . For the duration of our stay, we slept very well in the comfortable beds The variety of food on offer was excellent. They had something for everyone and a budget to suit all very tasty too well done chef. We were fortunate enough to have the sun on our side the week we stayed. The outside senary was beautiful, relaxing, and calming, plus my little doggy was welcomed too. We've been coming here for ten years and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. It's my go-to place when I visit my family. The journey from Devon makes it so worthwhile.

This hotel is a popular venue and we begin to realise that because of that you may find you share your stay with some very well attended event or other. That being said it has not created any major problems in parking, undue noise etc. The staff are excellent. The basic rooms are large and clean. The breakfast is good. Some quirky things ..... the hot water tap in our room either ran or it didn't - which was puzzling, especially as the shower did not suffer from that problem...... All in all I clearly recommend the hotel, otherwise I would not have returned.

Breakfasts where excellent & the staff helpful. This is our 4th stay as we come to visit family who live near by. On our 1st stay we where in a room overlooking the garden & delighted in watching squirrels in the tree near our room. More recently we have been in a bigger room overlooking the car park so that has been a bit of a disappointment but the room has been excellently cared for by the person who does these jobs. Obviously we will be returning & I will return the teaspoon that somehow found itself in my washbag. Thank you all.
